Jo is Practice Manager; responsible for ensuring the practice runs smoothly and provides a professional service for our clients. This includes the general management of all staff and facilities which keeps her challenged!
Jo has had an extensive career in the veterinary industry which has included veterinary nursing, teaching and examining before making the move into practice management. Jo joined Synergy with the farm clients from Langport Veterinary Centre in 2012 where she had been practice manager for a number of years. She lives on a beef farm just outside Langport.
Freya previously studied at Kingston Maurward College and has been a part of Synergy Farm Health since July 2017. She is Student Co-ordinator for EMS Placements and is part of the Reception Team.
Freya is an active part of Dorset YFC and in her spare time enjoys baking, horse riding and walking her miniature Dachshunds (when they can be bothered!).
Hayley is the Marketing Co-ordinator for Synergy Farm Health and started in August 2017. This post sees her planning marketing materials both printed, on the website and within social media platforms.
In previous roles she's had years of experience in the marketing and design field and has a Ba (hons) in Graphic Design.
Hayley is also Mum to Oliver and in her spare time enjoys swimming, revamping furniture, and playing keyboard in a local band.
Richard is Financial and IT Controller and has been with Synergy since June 2017. He is a qualified Accountant having studied with Baker Tilly and Albert Goodman, both in Yeovil. Richard has previously held accountancy positions with Augusta Westland and Bradfords. He runs the small accounts team at Evershot that deal with all client queries ranging from price and invoice queries to supplier payment runs.
Richard is married with three grown up sons and a dog. They are a very sporty family and although too old and fragile to compete anymore Richard does enjoy Skiing and watching his sons play rugby.
Donna works 4 days a week in the Accounts Office with her workload predominately based around client invoicing, dealing with client queries and entering daily banking. Donna previously trained as a butcher before joining the farm office accounts team at Kingfisher vets in 2001 prior to the farm animal merger with Southfield Veterinary Centre to form Synergy Farm Health in 2009. She has been with us for 16 years in total. Donna is married with two children & four grandchildren and lives in the South side of our practice in Somerset.
Jean was one of the inaugural employees of Synergy Farm Health starting at the formation of the practice in 2009 developing the new dispensary. Jean was previously employed at Kingfisher Veterinary Practice after a long career in veterinary nursing.
Jean is now our Stock Co-ordinator and has the unenviable task of ensuring stock is where it should be at the right time! Jean is also a qualified Animal Health Advisor (SQP) enabling her to advise clients on a range of products.
Jean lives near Chard with her busy family and enjoys genealogy, reading, gardening & walking as well as a spot of Honiton lacemaking.
